APRIL 9th: MONEY AND HOW IT REFLECTS OUR HISTORY - George Peppers
George Peppers, an avid coin collector and former coin dealer, will speak about coins and paper money and how they relate to history from ancient times to the present with emphasis on early American history. Examples of the coins and paper money discussed will be available for viewing. Bring your old coins and/or bills to see how they fit into history. 1 to 4 PM at the Giffordtown School Museum.

MAY 14th: AROUND THE WORLD WITH TEA
The program will be presented at the Little Borough Hall, 220 So. Green St., Tuckerton. Betty Butler has traveled the world and is able to show us different teas and how they were drunk across the world. We will enjoy lunch and good fellowship. Come hungry. 1-3 PM.
JUNE 18th: GENEALOGY AND THE MAYFLOWER
Back to the time of the Mayflower with John Yates. He will show us how he was able to trace his ancestors back to that first arrival. The excitement he felt as he went throught the generations of his family. Come learn how he did it and how you could. Giffortown School House Museum. 2-4 PM.
JULY 9th:SHARK ATTACK in 1916.
Trish Schuster will speak about the terrible shark attacks in our state of New Jersey. Giffortown School House Museum. 2-4 PM.
AUGUST 13th: LITTLE EGG HARBOR'S EARLY SHELLFISH INDUSTRY
Pete Stemmer has researched the early oyster and clam industry. He has the names of the early baymen from New Gretna to West Creek. Come hear Pete tell you some stories and facts that will surprise you. Giffortown School House Museum. 2-4 PM.
SEPTEMBER 10th: CLAMTOWN FLEA MARKET
Ye Old Clam Town Flea Market, will be held at TIP SEAMAN PARK, from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. This marks its 37th year. There will be at least 100 dealers to sell wonderful antiques and other priceless items. Rain dates are September 11th or 17th.
OCTOBER 22nd: THE CIVIL WAR IN NEW JERSEY
The Civil War began 150 years ago. The next four years marks the sesquicentennial Civil War celebration. We will take you to the start of the war and how New Jersey first entered. Giffortown School House Museum. 2-4 PM.
NOVEMBER 12th: NATIVE AMERICANS IN OUR AREA
Steve Dodson, historian and writer will speak about our Native Americans. He has a great ability to capture his subject and lay it before his audience. Giffortown School House Museum. 2-4 PM.
DECEMBER 10th: CHRISTMAS IN TUCKERTON
Christmas in Tuckerton is something to look forward to as part of our holidays. The Tuckerton Historical Society will hold a private Christmas Party for its members from 4-6 PM in the Little Boro Hall at 220 South Green Street. After 6 PM the doors were opened to the public who are welcomed to share in the Society's Christmas celebration. Clam chowder and Christmas goodies will be served to all.
