BASS RIVER STATE FOREST- 100 YEARS OF HISTORY - MARCH 17th

REMEMBERING THE HINDENBURG CRASH - MAY 19th
Bob Buchanan was a member of the civilian ground crew at the landing of the Hindenburg in 1936. He discussed that fateful May 6, 1936 day when the great air ship burst into flames and gave an eyewitness account. 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the Giffordtown Schoolhouse Museum.

LONG BEACH ISLAND AND THE SOUTH JERSEY COAST - JULY 21st
Author and publisher Margaret Buchholz(Pooch) discussed her many books about Long Beach Island and the South Jersey Coast. 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the Giffordtown Schoolhouse Museum.

REMEMBERING BURREL ADAMS - AUGUST 18th
Museum Curator, Barbara Bolton; Tim Hart, Tuckerton Seaport Executive Director; Pete Stemmer, and Pat Johnson gave brief presentations on the varied aspects of Burrel's many hobies and interests. Some of Burrel's collections, photographs, models, paintings, etc. dealing with the history of Tuckerton, Little Egg Harbor, and the surrounding area were on exhibit. Refreshments followed on the front lawn. 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Giffordtown Schoolhouse Museum.

CLAMTOWN FLEA MARKET - SEPTEMBER 8th
A bright, sunny day helped to make this year's Flea Market a success. Over 100 dealers participated in exhibiting a wide variety of items from 8 AM to 5 PM in Tip Seaman Park, Tuckerton, N.J.

HEART OF THE PINES PRESENTATION- OCTOBER 13th
The Rev. John Pearce discussed items from his book, “Heart of the Pines”, accompanied by a slide presentation and question and answer session. 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the Giffordtown Schoolhouse Museum.

WORLD WAR I RECIPES - NOVEMBER 17th
WORLD War I recipes were presented along with some history of the war. Food involving some of the recipes was tasted and recipes were shared. 1:00 to 4:00 PM in the Giffordtown Schoolhouse Museum.

CHRISTMAS IN TUCKERTON - DECEMBER 8th
The annual "Christmas in Tuckerton" was again celebrated at the Little Boro Hall, 220 South Green Street. Participants enjoyed homemade Clam Chowder, food, cookies, and some historical exhibits.
